Eligibility Criteria
for ICMR Vacancy 2018:
Educational Qualification:
1. Scientist ‘C’ -First
Class Master’s degree in Life Sciences/ Zoology/ Genetics/ Biotechnology/
Microbiology from a recognized University Or 2 nd Class M.Sc. in above subjects
+ Ph.D. degree in one of the above subjects from a recognized University. •
Four years R&D experience in relevant areas in recognized institute(s) after
obtaining essential qualification
2. Computer Programmer -Master’s
degree in Computer Application, Information Technology, Computer Science from a
recognized University Or • B.E./B. Tech. in Computer Engineering, IT from a
recognized University with two years experience in relevant areas of
programming or information system in a Govt. or autonomous, PSU recognized
organization
3. Project Assistant -
Graduate in Science/ relevant subjects/ from a recognized university with three
years work experience from a recognized institution Or • Master’s degree in the
relevant subject
4. Data Entry Operator -
Intermediate or 12th pass in science stream from recognized board with DOEACC
‘A’ level from a recognized institute and/or 2 years experience in EDP work in Government,
Autonomous PSU or any other recognized organization. • A speed test of not less
than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer.
Age Limit: (As on 25.04.2018)
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should not exceed (For post 1 - 40 years), (For Post 2 - 35
Years), (For Post 3 - 30 Years), (For
Post 4 - 28 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5
years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15
years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt.
of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as
