Eligibility Criteria
for Kolkata Port Trust Vacancy 2018:
Educational Qualification:
1. Sub Inspectors - From
Ex- Police/ CISF / Army /Navy/ Air force/ other Para forces. Experience: Must
have not less than 15yrs. Service. Those having experience of handling law-and-order
situations, deployment of personnel, enquiry, crowd control, direct action etc.
will be preferred
2. Gunmen - From
Ex- Police, Army, Navy& Air force or other Ex-Para forces having Guns with
valid licence. Must have not less than 15yrs. Service and adequate experience
in direct action, patrol, watch and ward. Must have experience and competence
in handling firearms for at least 10 years Age - not below 40 yrs or above
55years
Age Limit:
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1 - 40 years or above 55years), (For 2 -
40 yrs or above 55years). The Upper age
limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons
with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and
for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit
