SRF Pathology  recruitment in Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences

Project entitled:  'Therapeutic efficacy of Rasaganthi Mezhugu (RGM) in 7-12 dimethyl Benzanthracene (DMBA) induced mammary tumors in rats'

Qualification: M.V.Sc/ Ph.D. (Pathology/ Animal Biotechnology/Microbiology / Pharmacology) with experience in Molecular biology related work

Pay Scale : Rs.18000

Qualification: MSc (Biotech) M.Tech (Biotechnology) preferably with 2 years of research experience in molecular biology related work (Preferably evident in the form of research publications in standard journals)

Pay Scale : Rs.16000

Desirable qualification: 1. Candidates with OGPA of 3.50 /4.00 or 8.00 /10.00 or First Class or equivalent grade / marks are preferred. 2. Research experience in siddha medicine preparations /cancer therapeutics/PCR /molecular markers expression studies/ immunohistochemistry .

Scientist ‘C’ (Immunology) at the ICMR’s National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis, Chennai

Essential Qualification: Post graduate degree (MD/DNB) with one year R&D/teaching experience or Postgraduate diploma in Immunology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology with two years R&D/teaching experience in the required subject from recognized University. or MBBS degree recognized by MCI with 4 years R&D/Teaching experience in Immunology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology after MBBS Degree or First class Master’s degree in Immunology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology from a recognized University with 4 years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject after 1st Class Master’s Degree or Second class M.Sc. + Ph.D degree in Immunology/Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology from a recognized University with 4 years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject after M.Sc. + Ph.D.

Desirable Qualification: (i) Doctorate in Immunology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology or MD/DM in Immunology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology from a recognized university for candidates with first class in relevant Masters’ degree. (ii) Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in Immunology/ Biotechnology/Molecular Biology in recognized institute(s) (iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications / Data Management.

Notes: 1. Candidates with Post Graduate Degree in Immunology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Doctorate Degree in Immunology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology shall be recruited as Scientist ‘C’ after requisite training under Talent Search Scheme as per Schedule-IV. 2. MD/Ph.D. in Immunology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology shall be treated equivalent to three years experience. 3. Postgraduate Diploma in Immunology/ Biotechnology/Molecular Biology shall be treated equivalent to two years experience.
