Eligibility Criteria
for RBI Vacancy 2018:
Educational Qualification:
1.
Legal Consultant (Grade ‘F’) on contract basis - a) Bachelor’s
Degree in Law recognized by the Bar Council of India for the purpose of
enrollment as an Advocate with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in the
aggregate of all semesters/years; and b) Master’s Degree / Ph.D in Law from a
recognized university
Experience (as on 23-04-2018)
a) Essential: At least
‘fifteen years’ experience as an Advocate or as a Law Officer in the Legal Department
of a large bank/financial institution /statutory corporation or in the Legal
Department of Central/State Government or as a partner in a Law firm providing
legal advice.
2.
Legal Consultant (Grade ‘C’/’D’) on contract basis
a)
Bachelor’s Degree in Law recognized by the Bar Council of India for the purpose
of enrollment as an Advocate with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in the
aggregate of all semesters/years; and
b)
Master’s Degree /Ph.D. in Law from a recognized university.
Experience (as on 23-04-2018)
a) Essential: At least ‘Seven years’ experience as an Advocate or as a Law
Officer in the Legal Department of a large bank/financial institution/statutory
corporation or in the Legal Department of Central/State Government or as a
partner in a Law firm providing legal advice. b) Desirable: Experience in
Taxation laws, International laws, laws relating to Banking, Payment Systems,
Forex and Cyber / IT Laws.
Age Limit: (As on
23.04.2018)
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should be between (For Post 1 - 45
Years to 55 years), (For Post 2 - 30
years to 45 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3
years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s
& 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.
