in Plant Physiology / Genetics / Plant breeding / Plant Biochemistry with
minimum 2 years experience in Plant Phenotyping research or Ph.D. in Plant Physiology/
Genetics / Plant breeding/ Bioscience with specialisation in plant stress
physiology Only those with experience in research on drought/heat tolerance
in plants as supported by published research and those with experience in
plant phenotyping in controlled environment /experimental field should apply

Post graduate in any branch of Life Sciences* / PG in Engineering with
specialisation in Advanced Imaging * Those who do not have experience in

Two years Master’s degree in Agriculture [M.Sc. (Ag.) (Molecular

years bachelor’s degree. OR Three years Master’s degree in Agriculture (M.Sc.
(Ag.) Molecular Biology and / OR Biotechnology / Agricultural Biotechnology /
Plant Physiology / Biochemistry / Genetics and Plant Breeding / Microbiology)
and three years Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks or equivalent OGPA. OR Two
years Master’s degree in Basic Sciences (Molecular Biology and / OR
Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Botany / Genetics / Life Sciences /
Microbiology) and 3 years Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks or equivalent
OGPA. Candidate must have NET qualifications (CSIRNET / DBT - BET/ GATE /
ICAR- Ph.D Tests / ICMR-JRF / DOP-GPAT) + Knowledge of molecular biological
techniques, operating laboratory equipment’s like PCR, qRT-PCR. Knowledge of
computer operations. Screening plants under controlled and natural
