Eligibility Criteria for NIE Chennai Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification:

 (i) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

(ii) Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English on Computer.

(35 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should be between 18 to 27 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Application Fee:

A Demand Draft / Indian Postal Order (IPO) for Rs.300/- (Rupees Three hundred only) in favour of “The Director, National Institute of Epidemiology” payable at Chennai, being the application fee, should be enclosed along with the application. SC/ST, Women and Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates are exempted from the payment of application fee. The Council’s employees are not exempted from the payment of application fee for Direct Recruitment posts.
