Eligibility Criteria
for TIFR Vacancy 2018:
Educational Qualification:
1. Scientific Officer (D) - Master’s
Degree or Ph.D in Veterinary Science with a valid registration certificate
issued by IVC
2. Engineer (C) - Architect - Graduate
degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) from a recognized university / institute with
minimum 60% marks.
3. Scientific Officer (C) - M.Sc. in
Biology / Biotechnology with 60 % marks.
4. Scientific Assistant (B) - B.Sc. in
Electronics/Instrumentational Engineering with 60% marks in aggregate OR
SSC/HSC. Diploma in Electronics/Instrumentational Engineering with 60% marks in
Aggregate.
5. Scientific Assistant (B) - Electrical -
S.S.C/H.S.C. Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 60% marks in aggregate.
6. Tradesman (B) - Turner - S.S.C. OR
equivalent and ITI i.e. National Trade Certificate (NTC) (60% marks) awarded by
National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the relevant trade.
7. Work Assistant - S.S.C. OR
equivalent
Age Limit:
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1 - 35 years), (For Post 2, 4- 33
Years), (For Post 3 -
28 Years), (For Post 5, 6
- 28 years), (For
Post 7 - 31 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years
for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years
for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of
