Criteria for East Coast Railway Scouts and Guides Quota:
As
per the recent East Coast Railway notification 2018, the eligibility details
like Educational Qualification & Age Limit for the Scouts and Guides Quota
job has given below.

/ Guiding Qualifications:
The
following qualifications would apply for recruitment of Scouts & Guides to
posts in Level-1 and Level-2.
(a)
A President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in
any section.
(b)
Should have been an active member of a Scouts organization for the last 5 years
. The ‘Certificate of Activeness’ should be as per Annexure-III: and
(c)
Should have attended two events at National level OR All Indian Railways’ level
AND Two events at State level

marks in the aggregate. (50% marks in the aggregate will be required for NTPC

(OR) A pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board and
having ITI certificate for the posts in Technical Categories.

Procedure:
East Coast Railway may
follow the following process to select the candidates.

₹ 500/- (Five Hundred Only) . ₹ 400/- will be refunded to those who
actually appear in the written examination.

Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities, and
Economic Backward Classes. (whose family income is less than ₹ 50,000/- per
annum)
|
₹ 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty Only). The amount will be refunded to
those who actually appear in the written examination.

Candidates should submit application fee for an amount mentioned below
in the form of Demand Draft / Pay Order from any Nationalized Bank, or
crossed Indian Postal Order from any Post Office (issued on or after the date
of this notification) drawn in favour of “Principal Financial Adviser, East
Coast Railway, payable at Bhubaneswar”
