of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates
possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Scheduled
should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act).
ii) A postgraduate qualification, i.e. M.D. in Geriatric Medicine or a
recognized qualification equivalent thereto. iii) Three years teaching and/or
research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty
after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Geriatric Medicine or a
qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Assistant Professor of Endocrinology and Metabolism

i) Same as for Assistant Professor of Geriatric Medicine at Sl.No. 1
above. ii) D.M. in Endocrinology & Metabolism (2 years or 3 years or 5

thereto. iii) One year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized
Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the Degree of D.M. in
Endocrinology & Metabolism (2 years or 5 years recognized course) or a

necessary for the candidates possessing 03 years or 06 years recognized Degree
of D.M. in Endocrinology & Metabolism.

subject of specialty after obtaining the Degree of M.Ch. in CTVS (2 years or
5 years recognized course after MBBS) or a qualification recognized
equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates
possessing three years or six years recognized Degree of M.Ch. in CTVS.
