Eligibility Criteria for SSC CGL Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification: (As on 01.08.2018)

(i) Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer:

(a) Essential Qualifications: Bachelor‟s Degree from a recognized University or Institute

(b) Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.

Note-I: During the period of probation direct recruits shall have to qualify the “Subordinate Audit Service Examination” in respective branches for confirmation and regular appointment as Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer

(ii) Junior Statistical Officer:  Bachelor Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level: or Bachelor Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

(iii) All other Posts: Bachelor Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

Note: The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification on or before 1st August, 2018.

Candidate’s Age Limit (For Post Code F, $, C, <, I, &, J, K, L, M , Q - Not exceeding 30 years), (For Post Code A, D, E, G, >, O - 20 to 30 Years), (For Post Code H, P - 18 to 30 Years), (For Post Code N, % - Up to 30 years), (For Post Code R - Up to 30 years), (For Post Code S**, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z, #, = - 18 - 27 years), (For Post Code @ - 20 - 27 years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Pay Scale Details for SSC CGL:

Pay Scale:

For Group - B Posts - A Central Civil post carrying the following grade pay: Rs. 5400, Rs. 4800, Rs. 4600 and Rs. 4200 in the scale of pay of Rs 9300 - 34800 in the Pay Band-2

For Group - C Posts - A Central Civil post carrying the following grade pay: Rs. 2800, Rs. 2400, Rs. 2000, Rs. 1900 and Rs. 1800 in the scale of pay of Rs.5200-20200 in the Pay Band-1
