Educational Qualification:

SRF NFRP - a)Master’s Degree in Geo-informatics/ Remote Sensing/ Geographical Information System/ Geography with two years experience b) Experience in GIS/Remote Sensing and Experience in handling research projects preferably in Forestry

JRF NFRP - Post Graduate Degree in Biochemistry/Bio-technology (OR) Graduate Degree ( B.Sc/B.Tech) in Agriculture/ Forestry

JRF NMPB - Post Graduate Degree in Botany/Plant Science with NET Qualification (OR) Graduate Degree (B. Sc/B. Tech) in Agriculture/ Forestry with NET Qualification (OR) Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course- M. Tech or M.Sc Forestry/ Agriculture. Desirable: Experience in field Botany

JRF NFRP - First Class M.Sc., I Zoology with specialization in Entomology/ M.Sc Agri. Entomology. Desirable: Research experience in the filed of Entomology particularly in seed Entomology willing to do extensive field surveys in Forest area and working knowledge on computer and statistical analysis

Age Limit: (As on 01.06.2018)

The upper age limit for JRF/JPF shall be 28 years on the 1st day of June,2018. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to Schedule castes/Scheduled tribes/women, physically handicapped and OBC applicants.

The age limit for the position of Programme officer is 45 years and for Data Entry Operator/Para-Taxonomist is 30 years.

Walk-in-interview is proposed to be conducted on 15/05/2018 to recruit Senior Research Fellows/Junior Research Fellows/Field Assistants/ Project Assistant/Technical Assistants/ Programme Officer/Data Entry Operator for the various research projects funded by in-house (NFRP) and EAPs at Institute of Forest Genetics & Tree Breeding, Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), as detailed below: IFGTB Coimbatore

2. Candidates should submit their application downloaded from the website of this Institute, in person on the date of interview up to 10.30 AM. Applications submitted after 10.30 AM on the date of interview will not be entertained.

3. Candidates desirous of attending the walk-in-interview should bring original testimonials on educational qualifications and community certificate for verification.

4. Attested photocopies of the same are to be attached with the bio-data form while appearing for the interview. Candidates without Provisional Certificate/Degree Certificate awarded by the Universities need not attend the interview.
