Eligibility Criteria for OFB Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification:

1. Graduate Apprentices - A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a statutory University OR an Institution empowered to grant such Degree by an Act of Parliament OR Graduate Examination of Professional Bodies recognized by Central Government as equivalent to a degree

2. Technician Apprentices - A Diploma in engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government OR a University OR an Institute recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent above.

3. Technician (Vocational) Apprentices - A Certificate in vocational course involving two years of study after the completion of the :Secondary stage of School education recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education.

Age Limit: There is No Upper Age Limit. However , the candidates below the age of 18 years are not eligible to sign the contracts, being the Minor. Their Contracts will be signed by their Guardian

Pay Scale Details for OFB Graduate Apprentices, Technician Apprentices:

Pay Scale:

1. Graduate Apprentices - Rs. 4,984 /-

2. Technician Apprentices - Rs. 3,542 /-

3. Technician (Vocational) Apprentices - Rs. 2,758 /-

Selection Procedure for OFB Graduate Apprentices, Technician Apprentices:

Candidates will be selected based on Merit List, Interview

The Selection shall be made as per Merit based on percentage of marks obtained in the concerned Degree/Diploma or Certificate Examination of the eligible candidates fulfilling the prescribed Educational and other Qualifications and other relevant-criteria. There shall be NO Test or Interview for Selection. In Case of CGPA/SGPA grading, Candidates must produce relevant documents from there, School/College /University to calculate the equivalent percentage of marks

Hard Copies of the signed application (registered online) along with photocopies of (i) ID proof (ii) Proof of Date of Birth (iii) Educational Certificates: Mark-Sheets/Degree Certificate (iv) Caste and attested copies of relevant documents should be addressed to “Address Mentioned in Official Notification” by post so as to reach us by 11.02.2018.
