Eligibility Criteria for BEL Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification:

1. Contract Engineer (Electronics)

Qualification: First class for General and OBC Candidates and Pass Class for SC/ST

candidates in BE / B.Tech (Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication/Telecommunication/Communication) from a AICTE approved institution / University  

Experience: Minimum of one year hands-on experience in any of the following areas:

Embedded System design or testing using 16/32/64 bit X86/RISC/ARM/DSPs, FPGA, VHDL etc.  

Telecom product design or testing with knowledge of IP Networking, VOIP, TCP/IP, WiFi/ LTE, Voice and Video Media Processing etc.  

Satcom products design or testing with knowledge of Modem Waveform development, FEC, Digital and analog modulation, matlab simulation etc.  

Navigation and stabilization systems design or testing with knowledge of inertial, navigation systems (FOG/RLG), MEMS based GYROS, Pedestals & GNSS based navigation products.

2. Contract Engineer (Mechanical - Product Design)

Qualification: First class for General and OBC Candidates and Pass Class for SC/ST candidates in BE/B.Tech (Mechanical) from a AICTE approved institution / University.

Experience: Minimum of one year hands-on experience in Product design/Engineering of electronic products for defence application. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in 3D modeling, design verification by carrying out structural and thermal analysis, prototyping, knowledge in design validation on prototypes and engineering documentation. Knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage.

3. Contract Engineer (Mechanical - Material Management)

Qualification: First class for General and OBC Candidates and Pass Class for SC/ST candidates in BE/B.Tech (Mechanical) from a AICTE approved institution / University.

Experience: Minimum 1 year full time experience in the field of materials management/supply chain management in reputed manufacturing organization

4. Contract Engineer (Computer Science)

Qualification: First class for General and OBC Candidates and Pass Class for SC/ST candidates in BE / B.Tech (Computer Science, Information Technology) from AICTE approved institution / University.

Experience: Minimum of one year hands-on experience in

Embedded software development or Testing on ARM /RISC Processor Architecture for development of electronic products/system.

IP Networking, TCP/IP, VOIP & SIP Protocol, HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP, XML,Web server, MIB, SQL etc for development of Telecom and Wireless products. The candidate must be well conversed in C. C++, Linux OS, socket programming.

5. Contract Engineer (Optics)

Qualification: First class for General and OBC candidates and Pass class for SC/ST candidates in MSc(Optics)/M.Tech (Tech-Photonics/Applied Optics/Optical Engineering/Photonics) from any AICTE approved institution/university.

Experience: Freshers

6. Contract Engineer (Laser)

Qualification: First class for General and OBC candidates and Pass class for SC/ST candidates in MSc (Optics) /M.Tech (Tech-Photonics / Applied Optics/Optical Engineering/Photonics/Lasers)from any AICTE approved institution/university.

Age Limit: (As on 01.12.2017)

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed 25 Years. Pay Scale Details for BEL Contract Engineer:

Remuneration: An all-inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 23,000/- per month.
