About COCHIN SHIPYARD:
Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) is one of the major shipbuilding and maintenance facilities in India. It is part of a line of maritime-related facilities in the port-city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala, India.
Of the services provided by the shipyard are building platform supply vessels and double-hulled oil tankers. Presently it is building the first range of indigenous aircraft carriers for the Indian Navy, the Vikrant-class aircraft carriers.

Fitter, Senior Ship Draftsman post – 116 Vacancies

Qualification:
Senior Shipdrafts man post –  Pass in SSLC and Three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks or equivalent qualifications in the case of Ex-Servicemen. Two years experience/training as Draftsman in a Shipyard or Heavy Engineering Company or Government Establishment and must be Computer savvy.
Fitter Post – Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate) and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in any one of the following trades or equivalent qualifications in the case of Ex-Servicemen.

1. a) Fitter Structural/ Pipe(Plumber)/ Sheet Metal Worker/ Welder (Gas & Electrical) or
2. b) Fitter or Mechanic (Motor Vehicle/Diesel /Tractor/ Earth Moving Machinery)

Pay Scale
Fitter Post –Rs.8900/- to Rs.18500/- per month
Senior Shipdrafts Man post – Rs.9300/- to Rs.22200/- per month
