TGT / PGT/ Nurse/ Computer Instructors recruitment in Kendriya Vidyalaya Shivamogga

1.TGT (English, Hindi, Sanskrit,  Maths,  Science &Social.Science)

Qualification : i) Four years ‘integrated degree course of Regional Colleges of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with atleast 50% marks in aggregate OR i) Bachelor’s Degree with atleast 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and in aggregate  with B.Ed.  The electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as under a)    For TGT(Sanskrit) : Sanskrit as a subject in all three years. b) For TGT(Hindi) : Hindi as a subject in all the three years c) For TGT(English) : English as a subject in  all the three yearsd)    For TGT(S.St) Any two of the following :History, Geography. Economics, Pol.Sc. of which one must be either History or Geography e) For TGT(Maths) –Bachelor Degree in Maths with any two of the following subjects : Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Sc, Statisticsf) For TGT(Science) – Botany, Zoology  and Chemistry ii) Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English medium iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications. Preference will be given to  the those candidates who has qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the  Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.   

2. Primary Teachers

Qualification : i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent, and  D.Ed.(ii) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted  by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidance framed by the NCTE for the purpose.     iii) Competence to teach through Hindi & English medium Desirable :   Knowledge of Computer Applications. Preference will be given to  those candidates who has qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the  Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.Candidates who are qualified with Bachelors Degree & B.Ed. can also apply for Primary Teacher.

3. Computer Instructors

Qualification : B.E / B.Tech (Computer Sci) / BCA / MCA / M.Sc.(Comp.Sc) /  M.Sc. (Electronics with Comp.Sc. Component) M .Sc.(IT)/ B.Sc.(Comp.Sc) or Bachelors/ Master degree in any science subject  / mathematics from recognized university with P.G. Dip in Comp.Application from Govt. recognized University / “O” level from DOEACC.  Or PG in any subject with minimum ‘A’ Level from DOEACC.

4. Nurse

Qualification : Nurse -Diploma Holder & should have Basic Life Support (BLS) Course at least once in two years.

5. Sports Coaches to coach the children for  Cricket, Volley Ball, Basket Ball , Athletics, Hockey. Football , Kho-Kho, Kabaddi  & Handball

Qualification : University Degree with Degree / Diploma in Physical  Education from a recognized institution. Distinguished sports men in relevant games who have represented the State / Country / in National / International event are also eligible to apply in their case,  Degree / diploma in Physical Education will be waived. Candidates from SAI will be preferred.

6. Skilled personal to teach Music

Qualification : Persons with recognized Degree / Diploma  in their respective fields or with specifications in such fields may apply.


7.  Yoga  Teacher / Instructors

Qualification : Graduation  in any subject or equivalent from a recognized  University &  One Year training in Yoga  from a recognized Institution.

8. Regional Language (Kannada)

Qualification : i) Four years ‘integrated degree course of Regional Colleges of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at-least 50% marks in aggregate OR i) Bachelor’s Degree with at-least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and in aggregate. The electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as under  iii)  Kannada should be  a subject in  all the three years  of Degree Course.

Remuneration : For Part Time// Contractual Teachers. ( TGTs Rs.26250/-P.M. (Consolidated) , PRTs, Coaches & Vocational Trs  : Rs.21250 P.M. (Consolidated)  & Staff Nurse  Rs.750/- Per Day.

Eligible age : 18 to 65 years
