Eligibility Criteria for IAF Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification:

Candidate should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Note - 1: Education Boards listed in Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) website as members, shall only be permitted.

Note - 2: Exact aggregate % of marks before decimal as written in the marks sheet of 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent OR calculated as per the rules of concerned Education Board shall only be considered (For example 49.99% should be taken as 49% and not to be rounded off to 50%).

Age Limit:

Candidates born between 14 July 1998 and 26 June 2002 (both days inclusive) are eligible to appear in the Recruitment Rally

Candidates belonging to any of the following category will not be eligible to apply for the Training positions:

- Ex-apprentices or Candidates who are currently undergoing apprenticeship in any organisation/firm

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army Nagpur Rally Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification:

1. Soldier General Duty - SSLC / Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. No aggregate percentage required for higher qualification i.e 10+2 and above. However, minimum 33% in each subject required.

2. Soldier Technical - 10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject

3. Soldier Technical (Aviation / Ammunition Examiner - 10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject. OR Three years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile / Computer Science / Electronic & Instrumentation)

4. Soldier Nursing Assistant / Nursing Assistant Veterinary - 10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with min 50% marks in aggregate and min 40% in each subject. OR In case the candidate has a BSc Degree with (Botany / Zoology / Bio-Science) and English, the stipulation of percentage in Class 12th is waived off. However, the candidate should have studied all the four specified subjects in Class 12th also

5. Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical / Inventory Management - 0+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce & Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Should have studied and passed English and Maths / Accounts / Book Keeping in Class X or Class XII with 50% marks in each subject

6. Soldier Tradesman - 8 th/10th Pass

2. Soldier Technical - 17 ½ - 23 Years 01 Oct 1995 to 01 Apr 2001

3. Soldier Technical (Aviation / Ammunition Examiner -17 ½ - 23 Years 01 Oct 1995 to 01 Apr 2001

4. Soldier Nursing Assistant / Nursing Assistant Veterinary - 17 ½ - 23 Years 01 Oct 1995 to 01 Apr 2001
