Eligibility Criteria
for RINL Vacancy 2018:
Educational Qualification:
(As on 01.06.2018)
Operators (S-4 Grade):
Mechanical - Diploma in
Mechanical / Production Engineering + 6 years in steel forging/rolling
operation in medium or large scale manufacturing/process industry 6 years in
operation of CNC machines for steel machining
Automation - Diploma in
Electrical & Electronics Engineering + 6 years in operation & maintenance
of PLC based automation in medium or large scale manufacturing/process industry
+ 6 years in operation & maintenance (minimum 2 years in 6.6 KV or above
installation) in medium or large scale manufacturing/process industry
NDT - Diploma in
Mechanical /Production / Metallurgy Engineering with a valid NDT Certificate of
Level II in UT & MT + 6 years in operation /quality assurance in medium or
large scale manufacturing/process industry in steel sector. Minimum 1 year
experience in ultrasonic testing, interpretation and evaluation is required
Laboratory - Diploma in
Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy Engineering + 6 years in quality assurance
in medium or large scale manufacturing/ process industry in steel sector.
Minimum 2 years in instrumental metallographic analysis.
Electrical - Diploma in
Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (or) ITI in Electrician
trade + 3 years in operation & maintenance in medium or large scale
manufacturing/process industry + 3 years in all types of electrical maintenance
in medium or large scale manufacturing/process industry in steel
Technician
Operation - Diploma
Mechanical / Production Engineering (or) ITI in Fitter trade + 3 years in
operation of furnaces for steel forging / rolling machines + 3 years in operation
in medium or large scale manufacturing/process industry (preferably in steel).
Mechanical - Diploma in
Mechanical / Production Engineering + 6 years in steel forging/rolling
operation in medium or large scale manufacturing/process industry 6 years in
operation of CNC machines for steel machining

Age Limit:
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should be between (For Operator (S-4 Grade) - 33 Years), (For Technician
(S-3 grade) - 30 Years) . The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST;
3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST
PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.

Pay Scale Details for RINL:
Pay Scale:
A)
Operator (S-4 Grade), Pay Scale: 17,100-3%-25,540 (Pre-revised)
B)
Technician (S-3 Grade), Pay Scale: 16800-3%-24110 (Pre-revised)
Selection Procedure for RINL:
Selection will be through
Online Test followed by Certificate Verification and Medical Examination to the
provisionally selected candidates.
Test Pattern: Test will
consist two segments, Segment-1: Questions pertaining to General Aptitude (i.e
Arithmetic, Reasoning, Data interpretation etc.), General Awareness/Knowledge
and knowledge of English, Segment-II: Questions pertaining to respective
technical subject. The questions will be set in bilingual in English and Hindi.

(Plus GST @18%) for General & OBC candidates and `100/- (Plus GST @18%) for
SC/ST/PwD candidates
