Eligibility Criteria for CSB Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification:

1. Junior Research Fellows (JRF) - M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Genetics/ Molecular Genetics/ Microbiology with minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).

2. Project Assistant - B.Sc in biological sciences (preference will be given to candidates with molecular biology background) with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates)

Age Limit: (As on 01.08.2018)

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed 28 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Pay Scale Details for CSB Junior Research Fellows (JRF), Project Assistant:

Pay Scale:

1. JRF -NET passed candidates will be paid Rs 25000/- + HRA as per DBT rules (for DBT project only)

2. JRF (non-NET candidates) for all projects: Rs.12000/- +HRA

3. Project Assistant: Rs 10,000/- consolidated
