Eligibility Criteria for KPL Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification:

1. Chief Manager (Dock Master) - Must hold a certificate of competency as Master of foreign going ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India. ii) Must hold a Pilot licence and have a proficiency in handling all types of ships + 5 years experience as Pilot or Master of foreign going ship

2. Chief Manager (HSE) - 1 st Class (60% or more) B.E. / B.Tech (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical) from recognized institution with Diploma in Industrial Safety (or) 1 st Class (60% or more) B.E./ B.Tech with Diploma in Environmental Management or Post Graduates in Environmental Science / Marine Science / Marine Biology from recognized institution  + 15 years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area in a Govt. /Public Sector Undertaking or reputed private company. Desirable: Experience in safety management, exposure to port/ heavy industries, knowledge in inspector of factories act/dock safety-rules & regulations.

3. Manager (Chief Hydrographic Surveyor) - Graduate in Civil Engineering Or Diploma in Civil Engineering + 10 years experience as Hydrographic Surveyor/Analogous post in Hydrographic Surveyor Or 15 years experience as Hydrographic Surveyor in case of diploma holder.

4. Manager-HSE - 1 st Class (60% or more) B.E. / B.Tech (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical) from recognized institution with Diploma in Industrial Safety (or) 1 st Class (60% or more) B.E. / B.Tech with Diploma in Environmental Management or Post Graduates in Environmental Science / Marine Science / Marine Biology from recognized institution + 10 years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area in a Govt. /Public Sector Undertaking or reputed private company. Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1 - 50 Years), (For Post 2 - 45 Years), (For Post 3, 4 - 40 Years), (For Post 5 - 35 Years), (For Post 6 - 30 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. 1. Chief Manager (Dock Master) - Rs. 90,000-240,000/-

2. Chief Manager (HSE) - Rs. 90,000-240,000/-

3. Manager (Chief Hydrographic Surveyor) - Rs. 70,000-200,000/-

4. Manager-HSE - Rs. 70,000-200,000/-

5. Assistant Manager (HSE) - Rs. 50,000-160,000/-

6. Junior Executive (Asst. Hydrographic Officer) - Rs. 30,000-120,000/-
