Eligibility Criteria for PRSC Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification:

1. Research Associate - Doctoral degree in the topics related to RS&GIS/Geoinformatics

2. Jr. Research Fellow - Master's degree in Remote Sensing/GIS/Geoinformatics OR Master's degree in relevant subject or equivalent with PG Diploma in RS & GIS from recognized and reputed institution/university

3. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) [Inf. Technology] - Master’s degree or equivalent in RS&GIS/ Agricultural Economics/Agricultural Extension/ Social Sciences with Good Knowledge of agriculture based applications and computer applications to work for Remote Sensing and GIS based agricultural applications.

4. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) [Socio Economist] - First Class B.E./B.Tech. with two year Web Application Development experience OR Master's in Information Technology (IT)/Electronics and Communication (EC)/ Computer Science (CS)/Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), with One year Web Application Development experience, after minimum educational qualifications as prescribed.

5. Research Fellow (Web Developer - ASP.Net) - First Class B.E./B.Tech. degree in Computer Science or equivalent# with at least two year experience OR Master’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Science & Engineering, Remote Sensing/GIS/Geomatics# with at least 1 year experience

6. Research Fellow (Web Server Administrator - Geo Server) - First Class B.E./B.Tech. degree in Computer Science or equivalent# with at least two year experience OR Master’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Science & Engineering, Remote Sensing/GIS/Geomatics# with at least 1 year experience in

Junior Research Fellow (Web Application Developer - Geoserver) - First Class B.E./B.Tech. degree in Computer Science or equivalent# with at least one year experience OR Master’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Science & Engineering, Remote Sensing/GIS/Geomatics or equivalent# with at least 6 months experience in :

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed 37 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. 1. Research Associate - Rs.30000/- per month

2. Jr. Research Fellow - Rs.25000/- per month

3. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) [Inf. Technology] - Rs.25000/- per month

4. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) [Socio Economist] - Rs.25000/- per month

5. Research Fellow (Web Developer - ASP.Net) - Rs.27, 000/- per month

6. Research Fellow (Web Server Administrator - Geo Server) - Rs.27, 000/- per month

7. Junior Research Fellow (Web Application Developer - Geoserver) - Rs.25, 000/- per month

Candidates will be selected based on Written Exam, Skill Test, and Interview

The filled in application forms along with one set of attested copies of degrees, certificates, one passport size photographs should reach to us by email/post as per specified against the post above. . It is mandatory for all candidates to deposit a non refundable fee Rs.1200/- for Research Associate; Rs.1000/- for Research Fellow (RF), Rs.800/- for Jr. Research Fellow (JRF), Rs.500/- for Project Fellow and Technical Assistant by cash or Demand Draft (in favour of Director, Punjab Remote Sensing Centre payable at Ludhiana) must be deposited in the office of Punjab Remote Sensing Centre, PAU Campus Ludhiana141004 on or before the date of test/Selection by 9.30 A.M. to be eligible for selection process starting at 10.00 AM. Candidates reporting after 10.00 AM shall not be considered for selection process.
