Eligibility Criteria for NIWE Chennai Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification:

1. Project Engineer (CE) - First Class Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering + Minimum two years experience

2. Project Engineer (AP) - First Class M.Sc. Atmospheric physics/M.Sc Meteorology + Minimum two years experience

3. Project Engineer (GIS) - First Class Bachelor's degree in Geoinfomatics / M.Sc in Geoinfomatics (OR) Any B.E. / B.Tech / M.Sc. degree with M.E. / M.Tech in GIS / Geomatics / Remote Sensing & GIS / Geoinformatics  + Minimum two years experience

4. Project Engineer (ME) - First Class Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering + Minimum two years experience

5. Project Engineer (EE) - First class Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering + Minimum two years experience

6. Project Engineer (EI) - First Class Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communication/ Electronics and Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control Engineering + Minimum two years experience

7. Project Officer (Accounts) - Bachelor's degree from a recognized University Institution + Minimum Five years experience

8. Junior Engineer - Three years Electrical / Diploma in Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering with at least second class. + Minimum two years experience

9. Junior Executive Assistant - Passed 10+2 from a recognized Board/ Institution. Passed 80/30 w.p.m. in Shorthand / English Typewriting - Proficiency in MS Office.

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 - 28 Years), (For Post 8, 9 - 35 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
