Eligibility Criteria
for Goa PSC Vacancy 2018:
Educational Qualification:
1. Professor in Paediatric
Surgery - Post graduate degree or equivalent in the concerned
super-speciality or equivalent. (iii) At least ten years teaching and/or
research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution in the
subject of super-speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate
of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.).
2. Assistant Professor in
Paediatric Surgery - Post graduate degree or equivalent in
the concerned super-speciality or equivalent. (iii) At least ten years teaching
and/or research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution
in the subject of super-speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of
Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.).
3. Lecturer in Paediatric
Surgery - A recognised medical qualification included in the
First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than
licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of
qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the
conditions stipulated in Section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
4. Clinical Neurophysiologist
in the Department of Neurology - Post Graduate Degree
i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Neurology) or Doctor of Medicine (Medicine) or Doctor
of Medicine (Physiology) or Doctor of Medicine (Paediatrics). (ii) Knowledge of
Konkani. Desirable: (i) Experience in Clinical Neurophysiology. (ii) Knowledge
of Marathi
5.
Junior Orthopaedic Surgeon - Post- graduate degree, failing which post-graduate
diploma, in the speciality concerned. (iii) In case of Diploma holders, Work in
responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after
post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
6. Medical Officer -
A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule
or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the
Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications
included in Part II of the Third Schedule should fulfill the conditions
stipulated in Section 18 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or a
degree of Goa Medical School (Medico- Cirurgiao). (ii) Completion of compulsory
rotating internship. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani
7. Principal Junior Scale - Degree
in Engineering from a recognized University. (ii) 5 years of practical
experience, out of which, 2 years should be in administration or Human Resource
Management. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
8. Mamlatdar/Jt.
Mamlatdar/Assistant Director of Civil Supplies - Degree in Law
of a recognised University. (ii) Knowledge of local revenue laws, laws
governing maintenance of law and order, planning and development works and
public distribution system. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani
9. Child Development Project
Officer/Social Welfare Officer - Master’s degree in
Social Service/Social Welfare/Social Work/Sociology/Psychology/Home Science
with Nutrition or Child development as a subject from a recognised University
or equivalent. OR Degree in Social Service/Social Welfare/Social
Work/Sociology/Psychology/Home Science with Nutrition or Child development as a
subject from a recognised University or equivalent, with 2 years experience in
social work in any Social Welfare Organisation. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
10. Assistant Director - Master’s
Degree in Social Service or Social Welfare or Social Work or Sociology or
Psychology from a recognised University or equivalent. (ii) Five years
experience of Social Work in any Social Welfare Organisation recognised by the
Government. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Age Limit: (As on 23.02.2018)
Candidate’s
Age Limit Should not exceed 45 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years
for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years
for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of
India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per
