Eligibility Criteria for URDIP Vacancy 2017:

Educational Qualification:

1. Project Assistant -II (Chemical Sciences) - M. Sc. in Organic/Biochemistry/ Natural Product only or equivalent with minimum of 55% marks

2. Project Assistant -III (Chemical Sciences) - M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutical chemistry/Medicinal chemistry/ Pharmacology / Natural products with minimum of 55% marks or M. Sc. Organic Chemistry with minimum of 55% marks and two years research or relevant informatics experience will be preferred

3. Project Assistant -III (Chemical Sciences) - M. Sc. in Chemical Sciences (Organic/Polymer Chemistry/Inorganic Chemistry/Material Science/Ceramics & Glasses) with minimum of 55% marks plus two years research or relevant informatics experience OR M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutical chemistry/Medicinal chemistry/Pharmaceutics’/Pharmacology/Natural products with minimum of 55% marks (Role: Technical Content Development and Management for reports/online portals/applications)

4. Project Assistant -III (Life sciences) - M. Sc in Life Sciences / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Genetics / Bioinformatics or equivalent with minimum of 55% marks plus two years research or relevant informatics experience (Role: Technical Content Development and Management for reports/online portals/applications)

5. Project Assistant -II (Comp/IT) - Master’s Degree / BE / B. Tech in Computer Science/ Computer Applications /IT with 55% marks with following skill set: Implementation of Information Retrieval (IR) Techniques/Models/Algorithms, preferably using java. Knowledge of information retrieval software/tools such as Lucene, Terrier etc. will be added advantage. OR Web based application development using JSP, Servlets, hibernate, Java beans, Apache Tomcat, Ajax, MySQL. Knowledge of UI designing will be added advantage.

6. Co-ordinator, (for Pune Center) for WOS-C Women Scientist Scheme (KIRAN IPR of TIFAC) - ME / M Tech or recognized equivalent qualifications in Engineering stream with minimum of 55% marks OR PhD in Science/Engg Desirable: Proficiency in patent searches using computer databases and good communication skills, should be a registered Patent Agent, experience in the area of IPR training.

Age Limit:

Age limit for Project Assistant at level I/II/III will be as 28/30/35 years respectively with five years relaxation for statutory groups and women.

For Post code A06 - The upper age limit for applying shall be 35 years. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of applicants belonging to scheduled castes/scheduled tribes/OBC, physically handicapped and women applicants.

Pay Scale Details for URDIP Project Assistant II, III:

Pay Scale:

For Project Assistant -II Rs.25, 000.00 p.m. + 20% HRA (depending upon qualification and experience)

For Project Assistant -III Rs. 28,000.00 p.m. + 20% HRA (depending upon qualification and experience)

For Post code A06- Rs. 37,000 p.m. consolidated; No other allowance is admissible
