Eligibility Criteria for Indian Air Force Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification:

Lower Division Clerk (LDC) - Essential: 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. A typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi or manual typewriter; or A typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer (35 wpm and 30 wmp correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word) Desirable: Knowledge in MS Office based applications.

Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary) - Essential : Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university; Must be holding a valid civil driving license for light and heavy vehicles; Must possess professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism; Minimum two years experience

Painter - Essential: Industrial Training Institute certificate in the appropriate / akin field or trade viz. Painter or Exservicemen in appropriate trade viz. Painter

Carpenter - Essential : Industrial Training Institute certificate in the appropriate / akin field or trade viz. Carpenter or ExServiceman in appropriate trade viz Carpenter Rigger.

Cook - Essential : Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university; Six months experience in trade; or Ex-Serviceman in similar/akin/field or trade

Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) - Essential: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Desirable: One year of experience as Watchman or Lascar or Gestetner Operator or Gardener from an Organization or Institute.

Mess Staff - Essential: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Desirable: One year of experience as Waiter or Washer up from an Organization or Institute.

Ayah/WardSahayika - Essential: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Desirable: One year of experience as Ayah, in Hospitals or Nursing Homes from an Organization or Institute.

Laundryman - Essential: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board. Desirable: One year of experience as Dhobi from an Organization or Institute.

House Keeping Staff - Essential: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.

Cadetorderly - Essential: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Desirable: One year of experience as Orderly from an Organization or Institute

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should be between 18 to 25 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Pay Scale Details for Indian Air Force Group ‘C’ Civilian:

Pay Scale: Rs.5200 - 20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

Selection Procedure for Indian Air Force Group ‘C’ Civilian:

Candidates will be selected based on Written Exam, Skill/ Practical/Physical Test and Interview

Examination will be conducted at the respective Stations/Units. The syllabus for examination will be related to charter of duties of concerned post(s), General Intelligence, Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English, General Awareness, Skill/ Practical/Physical Test where necessary shall be conducted to screen candidates.

3. Read the Advertisement carefully to be sure about your eligibility

4. Fill your Academic Qualification & Other Related Information as per the instructions

5. Eligible candidates desirous of applying are to forward their applications as per prescribed format with enclosures as listed below to the Air Force Stations/Units at addresses listed above:-

(a) Application as per given format duly typed in English on foolscap paper with two recent passport size photographs (one self attested photograph is to be pasted on the application).

(b) Self attested photocopies of certificates supporting Date of birth, Educational qualification, Experience etc;

(c) Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-servicemen are to enclose copies of certificate issued by the Competent Authority supporting their category and reservation status.

(d) Self addressed/stamped envelope of size 24 x 11 Centimeters.

(e) Any other documents supporting their candidature.

(f) The envelope containing the application should be superscribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ___________________”. Separate application for each post should be forwarded.
