Eligibility Criteria for DGQA Vacancy 2017:

Educational Qualification:

1. Stenographer Grade-II - (a)12th pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University (b) Certificate in Stenography & Typing from a recognized institution; Skill Test Norms for VH Candidates Dictation-10 minutes @ 80 wpm Transcription 75 minutes (English) or 100 minutes (Hindi) (on computer)

2. Librarian Grade-IV - (a) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent. (b) Certificate in Library Science or Librarian-ship from a recognized institution; (c) Skill Test Norms Possession of speed in typing at 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.

Age Limit:

1. Stenographer Grade- Between 18- 27 Years. Upper age limit relaxable for Govt. servants up to 40 yrs in case of General and 45 years in case of SC & ST

2. Librarian Grade- Between 18- 27 years. Upper age limit relaxable for Govt. servants up to 40 yrs in case of General

Age Relaxation permissible beyond the Upper age limit

SC/ST 05 years in case of vacancies reserved for SC/ST PH 10 years PH+SC/ST 15 years Departmental candidates with minimum 03 years continuous service Upto 40 years of age (UR) Upto 45 years of age (SC/ST)

2. Librarian Grade-IV - Rs.5200-20,200 GP 1900/- (PB-1) (pre-revised)
