Eligibility Criteria for Coconut Development Board Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification:

1. Deputy Director (Development) -  Post Graduate Degree in Horticulture / Agriculture/Plant Sciences (with working experience of plantation tree crops) from a recognized University or equivalent; and (ii) Seven years experience in a responsible capacity (out of which 5 years experience in a Group A post under the Central Government or equivalent) in agriculture development with particular reference to coconut crop

2. Deputy Director (Marketing) - Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture from a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Seven years experience in a responsible capacity (out of which 5 years should be in a Group A post under the Central Government or equivalent) in Marketing/Processing of Agricultural Commodities and in Market Intelligence/Market Surveys and Market Promotion activities

3. Field Officer - Post Graduate Degree(i) Secondary School Leaving Certificate with a pass in the Certificate/ Diploma course in Agriculture/ Horticulture conducted by the Rural Institute/Horticulture or Agriculture Department or equivalent with 2 years experience in Agriculture/ Horticulture operations including supervision. (ii) Knowledge of the local language where the farm/ office is located.e in Agriculture / Horticulture from a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Seven years experience in a responsible capacity (out of which 5 years should be in a Group A post under the Central Government or equivalent) in Marketing/Processing of Agricultural Commodities and in Market Intelligence/Market Surveys and Market Promotion activities

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1, 2 - 45 Years), (For Post 3 - 30 years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
