Eligibility Criteria for Goa PSC Vacancy 2017:

Educational Qualification:

1. Assistant Lecturer in Physiology - A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub- section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Registered for Post-Graduate Degree in concerned speciality. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

2. Lecturer in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontic - A qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948). (ii) Post-Graduate qualification in Dentistry i.e. Master of Dental Surgery in concerned speciality/subject from a recognized institution or equivalent. (iii) Should be registered with Dental Council. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) One year teaching experience after post graduation in a recognized Institute. (ii) Three years experience as Registrar/Tutor/Senior Resident/Demonstrator in the concerned speciality of Dentistry in a recognized Dental College/Medical College with Dental Wing/Dental Institution. (iii) Knowledge of Marathi.

3. Lecturer in Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry - A qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948). (ii) Post-Graduate qualification in Dentistry i.e. Master of Dental Surgery in concerned speciality/subject from a recognized institution or equivalent. (iii) Should be registered with Dental Council. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) One year teaching experience after post graduation in a recognized Institute. (ii) Three years experience as Registrar/Tutor/Senior Resident/Demonstrator in the concerned speciality of Dentistry in a recognized Dental College/Medical College with Dental Wing/Dental Institution. (iii) Knowledge of Marathi

4. Assistant Director of Education - At least 2nd Class Master’s Degree of a recognised University or equivalent. (ii) Degree in Teaching/Education of a recognised University or equivalent. (iii) 10 years teaching experience in a High School/Higher Secondary School or a Teachers Training Institution including at least 3 years experience in a responsible administrative capacity. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Marathi. (ii) Experience as Principal of Higher Secondary School.

5. Chemist - Master’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry/Physical Chemistry/Inorganic Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) 2 years experience in the field of industrial hygiene and allied matters. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

6. Principal (GCA) - Bachelors and Masters Degree in Architecture with First Class or equivalent, either in Bachelors or Masters Degree. (ii) Ph. D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline. (iii) Minimum of 10 years experience in Teaching/Research/Industry, out of which, at least 3 years should be at the level of Professor. OR (iii) Minimum of 13 years experience in Teaching and/or Research and/or Industry. Note: (1) In case of research experience, good academic record and books/research paper publications/Intellectual Property Rights/patents record shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection Committee. If the experience in industry is considered, the same shall be at managerial level equivalent to Professor level with active participation record in devising/designing, developing, planning, executing, analyzing, quality control, innovating, training technical books/research paper publications/Intellectual Property Rights/patents, etc. as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection Committee. Note: (2) In case of Architecture, Professional Practice of 10 years as certified by the Council of Architecture shall also be considered valid. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Post Ph. D publications and shall have guided Ph. D students. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
