Eligibility Criteria for NIRRH Vacancy 2017:

Educational Qualification:

1. Scientist B (Non Medical) Life Sciences (Reproductive Biology) - First class Master’s degree in Life Sciences from a recognized University. or Second class M.Sc in Life Sciences+ Ph.D degree in Life Sciences from a recognized University

2. Scientist B Non Medical (Social Sciences) - First class Master’s degree in Social Sciences/ Anthropology/ Psychology from a recognized University. or Second class M.Sc in above mentioned subjects + Ph.D degree in relevant subject from a recognized University.

3. Scientist C (Non Medical) Reproductive Biology - First class Master’s degree in Life Sciences from a recognized University with 4 years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject after 1st class Master’s Degree. or Second class M.Sc in Life Sciences+ Ph.D degree in Life Sciences from a recognized University with 4 years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject

4. Scientist C Veterinary Sciences - M.V.Sc degree recognized by VCI with 4 years experience in laboratory animal facility.

5. Scientist D (Medical) Obstetrics & Gynecology/Preventive & Social Medicine/ Pediatrics- Post graduate degree (MD/ MS/DNB) in Obstetrics & Gynecology/ Pediatrics with five years R & D/ teaching experience or post graduate diploma in related medical subjects with six years of R & D/ teaching experience in the related subject after MBBS degree from recognized university. Or MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized University with Eight years R&D experience in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology /Preventive & Social Medicine / Pediatrics from recognized Institute(s) after obtaining essential qualification (ii) Out of above 2 years in a managerial position to handle R&D projects in a team effectively in a directing capacity

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed 35 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. 4. Scientist C Veterinary Sciences - Rs.15600- 39100 + GP Rs.6600/-

5. Scientist D (Medical) Obstetrics & Gynecology/Preventive & Social Medicine/ Pediatrics- Rs.15600- 39100 + GP Rs.7600/-
