Eligibility Criteria for NIMH Vacancy 2017:

Educational Qualification:

Research Officer - M.Phil PSW/ Psychology (Rehab/ clinical) or MDRA or Any professional

Assistant Research Officer - M.Phil PSW/ Rehab/ Clinical Psychology or Master Degree with M.Ed Spl. Education or Master degree with M.Ed (MR) or Graduation with one year Diploma in the field of MR or M.Ed -SE (MR/ID) with two years’ post qualification in teach or MA (Psychology/ Sociology/ Social Work) with B.Ed SE (MR/ ID) or BMR/BRT/BRS and two years post qualification in teaching / Research.

Project Assistant - Graduation with D.Ed (MR)/ DVR (MR) or typing skills with 30 words per minute.

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1 - 45 Years), (For Post 2, 3 - 30 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Pay Scale Details for NIMH Research Officer, Assistant Research Officer & Project Assistant:

Pay Scale:

1. Research Officer Rs.500/- per session (maximum of 4 sessions a day)

2. Assistant Research Officer- Rs.375/- per session (maximum of 4 sessions a day)

3. Project Assistant- Rs.220/- per session (maximum of 4 sessions a day)
