The Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) is a growing phenomenon. Located in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala, RGCB began in 1990 amongst humble surroundings as a small charitable society called the Centre for Development of Education, Science and Technology (C-DEST).

Eligibility:
The candidate must have good academic record with first class Master’s Degree in Life Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Botany/ Zoology.
Qualification in National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET/GATE).
Good knowledge in molecular biology techniques and experience in mammalian cell culture and also should have good communication skills.
Pay Scale:
25,000 + 20% HRA per month for M.Sc. Degree holders who have qualified at NET/GATE (with valid certificate) or Post Graduates in Professional Degree course qualified candidates. M.Sc. degree holders who do not have NET/GATE certification will be eligible for 12,000/- + 20% HRA per month.
