Eligibility Criteria for Eastern Railway Kolkata JE Jobs 2017

Educational Qualification:

1. Junior Engineer (P.Way) - Diploma in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering (Transportation), Recognized/Affiliated to AICTE in terms of RBE No.120/2014 (CPO’s Sl.No.149/2014)

2. Junior Engineer (Works) - 3 Years’ Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or 3 years’ duration (b) a combination of subs streams of Basic stream of Civil Engineering of a recognized University/Institute in terms in terms of RBE No.92/2014 (CPO’s Sl.No.108/2014)

3. Junior Engineer (TMO) - 3 Years’ Diploma in (a) Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation and Control Engineering from a recognized University/Institute or (b) a combination of any subs- stream of basic streams of Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation and Control Engineering from a recognized University/Institute in terms of RBE No.66/2015 (CPO’s Sl.No.15/2016)

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should be between 18 to 42 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
