Educational Qualification:

1. Welder - Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the respective trade + Minimum of three years post qualification experience/training in a Shipyard or Heavy Engineering Company.

2. Sheet Metal Worker - Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the respective trade + Minimum of three years post qualification experience/training in a Shipyard or Heavy Engineering Company.

3. Fitter/ Mechanic Motor Vehicle - Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the respective trade + Minimum of three years post qualification experience/training in a Shipyard or Heavy Engineering Company

4. Fitter Pipe (Plumber) - Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the respective trade + Minimum of three years post qualification experience/training in a Shipyard or Heavy Engineering Company

5. Diesel Mechanic - Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the respective trade + Minimum of three years post qualification experience/training in a Shipyard or Heavy Engineering Company

11. Instrument Mechanic - Pass in IV Std + Minimum of three years’ experience in rigging of which two years in rigging of heavy duty machine parts, assisting in the erection of machinery/ equipment etc, in a Shipbuilding/ Ship repair yard or Heavy Engineering Company. Good knowledge of splicing work of wire ropes.

Age Limit: (As on 30.07.2017)

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed 30 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
