Eligibility Criteria for Chennai Port Trust AEE, Marine Engineer Jobs 2017

Educational Qualification:

1. Accounts Officer Gr.I - Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or of Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India + Two years experience in Executive cadre in the field of Finance, Accounting in an Industrial / Commercial / Govt. Under taking.

2. Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical) - Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university/ institution + Two years experience in relevant discipline in executive cadre in an Industrial / Commercial / Govt. Undertaking

3. Dy. Marine Engineer -MOT II-Class Motor Certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 + 2 years experience as independent Watch Keeping Engineer on Board a foreign going ship  

4. Marine Engineer - MOT I-Class Motor Certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act, 1958. ii) 1 year post qualification experience as Chief Engineer / 2nd Engineer on Board a foreign going ship

5. Pilot - Must hold a certificate of competency as Master of foreign going ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India + 1 year post qualification experience as Master / Chief Officer of a foreign going ship.

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1, 2 - 30 Years), (For Post 3 - 35 Years), (For Post 4, 5- 40 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
