Eligibility Criteria for NIE Chennai Scientist Jobs 2017

Educational Qualification:

1. Scientist B (Bio-Statistics) (Non Medical) - First Class Master’s degree in Statistics / Bio-statistics from a recognized university / Institute with 2 years experience in managing health related data.

2. Scientist-C (Medical) - MBBS Degree with Post Graduate qualification (MD/DNB/) or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute with one (1) year R&D / teaching experience in Community Medicine (Preventive & Social Medicine) / Pediatrics / General Medicine / Epidemiology / Public Health. OR MBBS Degree with Postgraduate diploma qualification in Community Medicine (Preventive & Social Medicine) / Child Health or MPH Or MAE from a recognized University / Institute with two (2) years R&D / teaching experience in the above subjects. OR MBBS Degree recognized by MCI or equivalent Degree from a recognized University / Institute with four (4) years R&D / teaching experience in Community Medicine (Preventive & Social Medicine) / Pediatrics Epidemiology / Public Health after obtaining MBBS Degree

3. Scientist C (Non Medical) - a) 1st Class Master’s degree in Public health / Epidemiology / Social Sciences from a recognized university b) Four years research experience after obtaining essential qualification

Age Limit:

Pay Scale:

1. Scientist B (Bio-Statistics) (Non Medical) - Rs.48000/- + HRA Per Month

2. Scientist-C (Medical) - Rs.64,000/- + HRA Per Month

3. Scientist C (Non Medical) - Rs.51000/- + HRA Per Month
