Eligibility Criteria for IBSD JRF, SRF, Research Associate Jobs 2017

Educational Qualification:

1. Junior Research Fellow (SRF) - M Sc 1st class (Life Sciences, Botany, Biotechnology, Horticulture) JRF Shall execute collection of planting material of banana, tissue culture work, hardening and field trial of banana. M Sc 1st class (Life Sciences, Botany, Biotechnology)

2. Technical Assistant (TA) - B Sc with Biology. TA shall be responsible for media preparation, day to day maintainence of lab and helping JRF in collection.

3. Lab cum Field Assistant - Class XII (Science). Lab cum Field Assistant shall look after washing glass ware and hardening unit, poly house and field trial of tissue culture raised banana.

4. Project Assistant (PA) - M Sc. (Life Sciences, Botany, Biotechnology)

5. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - Post graduate degree with 2 years of research experience in Life Science/Botany/Environmental Science or any other relevant 4 discipline. Desirable: NET/GATE qualified candidates with experience in plant taxonomy/Ecology

6. Research Associate (RA) - M Sc with Ph D in Microbiology, Medical Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Veterinary Science, Genetics, Molecular biology, Pharmacology etc. (Desirable - Ph D Degree with one year research experience in isolation and characterization of microbial bioactive molecules, microbial enzymes, anti microbial compound, microbial diversity study etc.)

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed (SRF - 28 years), (SRF - 30 years), (Research Associate - 35 years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Pay Scale:

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - 25000 + 10% HRA

2. Technical Assistant (TA) - Rs. 13000/

3. Lab cum Field Assistant - Rs. 10000/-

4. Project Assistant (PA) - Rs. 16000/-

5. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - Rs. 28000/- + 10% HRA

6. Research Associate (RA) - Rs. 36000/- + 10% HRA
