II. For the posts from Sr. No.2 to 12 (Assistant Professor/equivalent & Subject Matter Specialists)
Qualification : (i) Ph.D. Degree in the concerned subject relaxable to M.Sc. (MBA for the post in the discipline of Marketing Management) with consistently good academic record i.e. 55% marks at Master's level. (ii) A relaxation of 5% from 55% to 50% of marks at Master's level shall be provided to SC/ST categories. (iii) A relaxation of 5% will be provided from 55% of marks to the Ph.D. degree holders who have paised their master's degree prior to September, 1991. (iv) For the candidates having Master's degree, NET shall remain compulsory along with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated referred journal for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted. Essentiality of NET can be waived off for the candidates holding Ph.D. degree provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations, 2009, and the candidate has at- least two full length publications having a NAAS rating not less than 4, on the last date of submission of application. Those candidates with Ph.D. degree without course work will not qualify for NET exemption. Further, this will be implemented with perspective date i.e. w.e.f.01" January, 2012. (v) 'B' in the 7-point scale with letter grades, 0, A, B, C, 0, E & F shall be regarded as equivalent to 55%, wherever the grading system is followed.
III. For the post at Sr. No.13 (Technical Assistant (field):
Qualification : B.Sc. (Horticulture/Forestry/Agriculture). Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
IV. For the post at Sr. No.14 (Programme Assistant (Computer)
Qualification : Bachelors in Computer Applications or Graduate having one year diploma in Computer Application from recognized institute. Desirable: (i) Two years' experience in Computer Application. (ii) Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
V. For the post at Sr. No.15 (Junior Technician (Laboratory)
Qualification : B.Sc. Horticulture/Forestry/Agriculture/B.Sc. OR Diploma (3 years) from recognized institution with 3 years' experience. Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
VI. For the post at Sr. No.16 (Junior Scale Stenographer)
Qualification : (1) Should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a Board of School Education/University recognized by the H.P. Government. (2) Should possess the following speed in shorthand and typewriting in both the languages i.e. English and Hindi at the time of initial recruitment: Speed of Shorthand: 80 W.P.M. (word per minute) in English and 70 W.P.M. in Hindi. Speed in Typewriting on computers: 40 W.P.M. (word per minute) in English and 30 W.P.M. (word per minute) in Hindi.
