Eligibility Criteria for IIT Madras Technical Trainee & Graduate Trainee Jobs 2017

Educational Qualification:

1. Technical Trainee - First Class Diploma holders (three years duration) in Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

2. Graduate Trainee in Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) - Candidates must have obtained First Class B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering. Preference will be given to the candidates who have good exposure to Computer Aided Design software.
3. Graduate Trainee in the Central Library - Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science
4. Graduate Trainee in Chemistry - Master’s Degree in Chemistry

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1 - 23 Years), (For Post 2 - 25 Years), (For Post 3, 4 - 28 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Stipend:

1. Technical Trainee - Rs.9000/- p.m. for the first year Rs.10000/- p.m. for the second year

2. Graduate Trainee in Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) - Rs.10000/- p.m. for the first year Rs.11000/- p.m. for the second year
3. Graduate Trainee in the Central Library - Rs.10000/- p.m. for the first year Rs.11000/- p.m. for the second year
4. Graduate Trainee in Chemistry - Rs.10000/- p.m. for the first year Rs.11000/- p.m. for the second year
