Eligibility Criteria for DAE Stipendiary Trainee Jobs 2017

Educational Qualification:

Stipendiary Trainee Category-I(Physics)	B.Sc. with Minimum 60% marks (Physics as principal and Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Statistics / Electronics / Computer Science as subsidiary subjects).
Stipendiary Trainee Category-I(Mechanical)	Diploma / Licentiate in Mechanical Engineering (3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC) with minimum 60% marks.
Stipendiary Trainee Category-I(Electrical)	Diploma / Licentiate in Electrical Engineering (3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC) with minimum 60% marks.
Stipendiary Trainee Category-I(Electronics and Instrumentation)	Diploma / Licentiate in Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering (3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC) with minimum 60% marks.
Stipendiary Trainee Category-II(Electronics)	SSC (with Science and Maths) with a minimum 60 % marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in Electronics / Fitter / Machinist/ Welder / Turner. The candidates should meet any of the following requirements as regards Trade Certificate:  1) NTC (ITI pass out) of two years duration. OR  2) NAC of two years duration under Apprenticeship Training Scheme. OR 3) NTC (ITI pass out) of one year duration plus one year work experience after the completion of course. OR  4) NTC (ITI pass out) of one-year duration plus NAC of minimum one year duration under Apprenticeship Training Scheme.

Stipendiary Trainee Category-II(Welder)
Stipendiary Trainee Category-II(Turner)
Stipendiary Trainee Category-II(Laboratory)	HSC in Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects) with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate. OR SSC (with Science and Maths) with a minimum 60 % marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in Laboratory Assistant. The candidates should meet any of the following requirements as regards Trade Certificate:  1) NTC (ITI pass out) of two years duration. or  2) NAC of two years duration under Apprenticeship Training Scheme. or 3) NTC (ITI pass out) of one year duration plus one year work experience after the completion of course. or  4) NTC (ITI pass out) of one-year duration plus NAC of minimum one year duration under Apprenticeship Training Scheme.

Age Limit: (As on 31.05.2017)

Candidate’s Age Limit Should be between (For Category-I - 19 to 24 Years), (For Category-II - 18 to 22 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Pay Scale:

For Category I

Rs. 9,300/- per month for 1st year

Rs.10,500/- per month for 2nd year

For Category II

Rs. 6,200/- per month for 1st year

Rs. 7,200-/ per month for 2nd year

Absorption after successful completion of training:

Scientific Assistant/C - Rs.44,900/-

Technician/B - Rs. 21,700/-

Technician/C - Rs. 25,500/-
