Qualification : (i) A citizen of India or such a person of other nationality as declared eligible by Government of India. (ii) A bachelor's degree with English as one of the combination subjects in the degree course from a recognized University and speed in English Shorthand and Typing 140 words and 40 words per minute respectively. (iii) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required in the case of those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).
Pay : Rs. 15,600-42,000/-
Age : 36 yrs as on 01.01.2017
Fee : Rs.210/- (Rupees two hundred ten) only + Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of Rs.5/- (Rupees Five) only for online payment through debit/credit card plus service charge as applicable as Govt. Duty or Service Charge of Rs.5/- (Rupees Five) only for Net Banking or Service Charge of Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty) only for payment through Bank Counter (off-line payment).
Selection Process :
The Examination will be held in two successive parts, viz., (i) Part I and (ii) Part II. The Part-I examination will consist of one paper ((i.e. Paper-I). The Part-II examination will consist of Paper-II & Paper-III and Personality Test. The final merit list of candidates will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in Part-I & Part-II examinations and the Personality Test.
The Part I Examination will be held in Kolkata centre only in the month of August. 2017 or thereabout followed by the Part II Examination and the Personality Test.
The Part II Examination and the Personality Test of the candidates to be selected on the results of the Part I Examination will be held at the Commission's office in Kolkata.
