Research Associate (Post Doctoral Fellow) recruitment in IIT Madras
Project on :High capacity Li-rich layered oxide cathode for quick charge battery: Enhancing the electrochemical performance for electric vehicle applications in the Department of Physics.
Qualification: Ph.D in the area of Electronic structure of solids using first principles methods.
Desirable: 1.The candidate should have a decent skill in programming and coding using one of the following languages Fortran/C/Python. Knowledge on Mathematical and Matlab are appreciated. 2.The candidate should be comfortable with crystallography and electron correlation phenomena. Additional knowledge on transition state theory will be appreciated. 3. The candidate should have the understanding of density functional theory.
