Candidate Profile:

• BE / MCA in Computer Science or related degree, or relevant work experience
• Minimum of 1 or 2 years of automated testing experience
• Windows/Linux/UNIX experience
• Software testing or development background
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Java or Java scripts, Linux shell scripting)
• Knowledge of a variety of web application technologies (Web 2.0, JSON, REST) and best practices

Job Description:

• Assisting in designing & implementing automated testing tools & frameworks
• Developing automated test frameworks, scripts & tools
• Supporting remote QA team (training, troubleshooting)
• Providing regular feedback on automated test results to QA and Development
• Developing and executing test plans. Evaluating compatibility of programs with existing hardware and software
• Responsible for accurate documentation and communication to facilitate elimination of problems and to create efficient fixes
