Project Title: “Biosystematics of Mayflies(Ephemeroptera)of India”.

Essential Qualification : M. Sc. in Zoology/Life Sciences/ Wildlife Biology or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.

Desirable : Experience of working in entomology, Ephemeroptera, aquatic insects, Biosystematics and a passion to undertake extensive field work throughout India. Knowledge of more than one Indian language especially Hindi; Computer and basic data analysis; microscopy; field photography etc., Experience in the Bioinformatics/ DNA Barcoding / Molecular phylogeny with at least one publication in SCI journal.

Upper age limit : 28 yrs.on the date of the interview.

Fellowship : Rs.18,000/- P.M. (Consolidated)
