Assistant Professor Nautical Studies/ Marine Engineering and Technology Job position in Indian Maritime University on Direct recruitment
Assistant Professor in the School of Nautical Studies /18 Posts
Essential: (a) Master (Foreign Going) Certificate of Competency; (b) Sailing experience for a minimum period of six months at Management level within the meaning of STCW Convention in force; and (c) A pass in the Eligibility Test conducted by the IMU. Candidates with a Ph.D in a relevant discipline are exempted from the Eligibility Test. Provided that for recruitments made till 31.12.2017, the Extra Master Certificate of Competency obtained prior to 1.1.2014 shall be treated as equivalent to Ph.D for recruitment purposes only.
Assistant Professor in the School of Marine Engineering and Technology /24 posts
Essential: (a) MEO Class I (Motor) Certificate of Competency; (b) Sailing experience for a minimum period of six months at Management level within the meaning of STCW Convention in force; and (c) A pass in the Eligibility Test conducted by the IMU. Candidates with a Ph.D in a relevant discipline are exempted from the Eligibility Test.
Pay Scale : Rs.15600–39100
